In this role, you will ensure company’s growth in terms of production by meeting your daily production deliverables in Kenya. This must align with the company strategy, sales plan, and Kenya/Group guidelines. You will ensure all goods are maintained in the best condition, production guidelines are adhered to, and health and safety practices are maintained within the facility.
Key Responsibilities
Production Tasks: Follow established operating procedures to perform production tasks safely and efficiently. Assist in the start-up, conversion, and monitoring of your area of responsibility. Ensure a good transfer to the next shift.
Communication: Communicate routine information, observations, and issues verbally or in writing to team members and supervisors.
HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment): Comply with all HSE requirements and company policies. Work to the agreed Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to ensure safety is maintained. Wear the necessary personal protective equipment appropriate for the task.
Safety Training & Assessment: Complete safety training on time. Execute last-minute risk assessments immediately before starting work to identify and mitigate safety, health, and environmental hazards.
Quality & Food Safety: Ensure products and work practices meet company quality and food safety standards. Apply food safety instructions regarding personal hygiene and fitness for work.
Technical Support: Escalate technical issues according to the agreed escalation flow. Provide support to technicians during technical interventions.
Cost & Productivity: Adhere to cost and productivity instructions within your own area of responsibility.
What We Expect From You
Academic Qualification: High School Certificate (KCSE).
Instructions: Must be able to follow instructions and routines received through short explanations.
License: Valid Forklift Driving License.
Core Principles: Adherence to basic safety and quality requirements, and ability to handle repetitive operating tasks.
Development & Teamwork: Take ownership of personal learning and development, and act as an ambassador of "Puratos Magic" within the team.
