The Officer-Digital Banking reports to the Manager-Digital Banking and is responsible for the development of digital products, reviewing strategic business challenges, and providing support to various business units. This role involves compiling and scheduling requests for mobile and online banking, conducting market research, and reviewing processes to ensure a customer-focused user experience and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy and Vision: Champion and gain buy-in for the bank’s product strategy, vision, and roadmap through collaboration and documentation, influencing peers and senior management.
User Experience: Develop superior user experiences and optimized processes on the bank’s digital channels.
Product Implementation: Execute product implementation by coordinating between Business, Operations, Technology, and third-party partners.
Launch Support: Support product launches to ensure go-to-market plans are effective and will deliver planned performance indicators, including financial and customer targets.
Capability Management: Develop work plans for new and improved capabilities with internal and external partners, maintaining service level agreements (SLAs).
Monitoring and Reporting: Prepare management reports and monitor digital channel performance through effective monitoring systems.
Sales Support: Offer support to sales teams and other partners to ensure products and programs achieve the bank’s targeted ROI.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Technology, or a related field.
Certifications: Professional certification in Product Development, Project Management, or AGILE Methodologies and Practices.
Experience: At least 3 years’ experience in product development, specifically within Digital Product development.
Industry Knowledge: Proven experience in the delivery of financial products and services in a high-growth environment.
Leadership: Demonstrated ability in building relationships, networking, and managing teams.
Desirable Skills: Experience in Mobile Money or Payments Platform Support and Project Management will be considered an advantage.
