About the Role
The Nutritionist will be responsible for providing comprehensive nutrition services within Excelligent Health Hospital. The role involves conducting nutrition assessments, delivering nutrition education, and offering counseling to patients with specific dietary needs.
Key Responsibilities
Support maternal, infant, and young child nutrition programmes.
Implement supplementary and therapeutic feeding programmes.
Assist in the monitoring and preparation of therapeutic feeds.
Collect and compile nutrition data for reporting and decision-making.
Ensure quality patient care and adherence to national nutrition guidelines.
Conduct nutrition assessments, deliver nutrition education, and offer counseling to patients with specific dietary needs.
Requirements & Qualifications
A Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics from a recognized and accredited institution.
Registration with the Kenya Nutrition and Dietetics Council (KNDI) and a valid registration certificate.
Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a busy healthcare facility (preferably a hospital setting).
Certificate in Computer Applications from a recognized institution.
