Job Description

Mediforte is a unit of Meditest Group, which is a Nairobi-based healthcare provider.
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Biomedical Engineering Officer to join our team at our Kisii branch. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting clinical medical equipment and technology within the hospital.
Responsibilities
Install, calibrate, service, and troubleshoot hospital medical equipment.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Prepare technical reports, maintenance schedules, and equipment audits.
Manage diagnostic equipment, medical devices, and hospital technology systems.
Requirements
Minimum 2-3 years' experience working in a Level 4 Hospital or equivalent healthcare facility.
Hands-on experience with installation, calibration, servicing, and troubleshooting of hospital medical equipment.
Strong knowledge of medical devices, diagnostic equipment, and hospital technology systems.
Ability to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Competence in preparing technical reports, maintenance schedules, and equipment audits.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Biomedical Engineering, Clinical Engineering, or a related field.
Additional certifications in medical equipment maintenance or hospital technology management are an advantage.
