Job Description
The County Government of Kitui is seeking to recruit two (2) Medical Engineering Technicians III. This role involves ensuring the continuous functionality and safety of medical equipment, plants, and instruments within the county's health facilities to support quality healthcare delivery.
Duties and Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and repairs of basic medical equipment, plants, instruments, and utilities within the health facility.
Collect technical information required for research purposes in the medical engineering field.
Gather and organize data on medical engineering services for inclusion in the Integrated Health Information Management System (IHIMS).
Assist in the implementation of various medical engineering programs and projects within the county.
Requirements for Appointment
Must be a Citizen of Kenya.
Possess a Certificate in Medical Engineering or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Possess a Certificate in Computer Applications from a recognized institution.
Must be registered with the relevant health professional and regulation bodies.
