Marketing & Sales Intern

We are looking for a Marketing & Sales Intern to support our Retail Solutions team. The intern will be responsible for driving revenue growth and brand visibility through effective sales support and the execution of marketing initiatives. This role reports directly to the Marketing and Customer Service Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Support: Assist in achieving Zamara’s ambitious strategic priorities by supporting the Retail Solutions team.
• Business Development: Support the team in identifying, qualifying, and following up on new business opportunities.
• Campaign Execution: Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns across various channels.
• Market Intelligence: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor activity.
• Lead Management: Support lead generation efforts and maintain an up-to-date sales pipeline.
• Documentation: Prepare client presentations, proposals, and marketing materials.
• Performance Analytics: Track and report on campaign and sales performance metrics.
• Customer Experience: Engage with clients to support relationship management and ensure a positive customer experience.

Qualifications and Experience

• Academic Performance: KCSE mean grade of B (plain) and above (or its equivalent).
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field with at least a Second Class Upper Division or above.
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Personal Attributes: Self-driven, adaptable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Analytical Skills: Good analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
