Amentum is seeking a Marina Manager to take overall responsibility for the oversight of all marine operations, engineering plant, and facilities. This leadership role involves ensuring the safe navigation and piloting of vessels while adhering to project requirements and safety regulations. The successful candidate will maintain compliance with regulatory bodies, manage budgets and supplies, and lead a team of engineering and marine subordinates through supervision and on-the-job training. Duties include: \n- Ensuring safe and efficient operation of the vessel including safe navigation and piloting.\n- Maintaining compliance with all regulatory bodies, classification societies, and other key organizations.\n- Determining parts, supplies, budget, and material required for the department.\n- Supervising engineering and marine subordinates.\n- Overseeing inputs of operation and maintenance data and recording long-range maintenance schedules.\n- Conducting on-the-job training for subordinate personnel.\n- Ensuring all required logs and records are accurately maintained.\n\n\n- Bachelor’s Degree in Marine or engineering-related field; or a combination of 10+ years of marina/fleet management experience or senior marina/fleet operations experience.\n- Five (5) years’ experience as a Manager in the marine industry with experience in managing vessel and harbor operations.\n- Five (5) years’ vessel operations management or equivalent USCG or US Army Training and experience.\n- Must maintain a USCG Third Assistant Engineer License, USCG 1600 Ton Oceans Masters License, or US Army 880A2 or 881A2.\n- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.\n\n\nInterested and qualified?
