Standard Bank Group is seeking a Manager for Global Markets Sales to manage a client portfolio by building, maintaining, and deepening client relationships. The successful candidate will provide trusted advice and sell fit-for-purpose products and services that meet client needs while achieving an exceptional client experience. The role focuses on optimizing cross-selling opportunities and portfolio Flow sales revenue in line with the Global Markets Flow Sales and structured products strategy, adhering to defined risk parameters and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Management: Build and maintain deep relationships within a assigned client portfolio.
Strategic Advisory: Act as a trusted advisor, providing insights and solutions that meet specific client needs.
Sales Optimization: Drive portfolio Flow sales revenue and optimize cross-selling opportunities for structured products.
Compliance & Risk: Ensure all activities are executed within the defined risk parameters and relevant financial regulatory frameworks.
Strategy Alignment: Execute sales activities in accordance with the Global Markets Flow Sales strategy.
Qualifications and Experience
Education: A First Degree (BA/BSc/HND) in Business Commerce or a related field.
Experience: 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Global Markets or financial sales.
Value Chain Influence: Proven ability to influence the value chain and key handover points to enhance client experience and product performance.
Product Knowledge: Deeper understanding of a broad range of financial products and the ability to integrate across asset classes.
Networking: Demonstrated evidence of existing client networks and the ability to leverage relationships more broadly.
