Lecturer (Software Engineering)

• Deliver lectures and facilitate tutorials in Software Engineering and related course units.
• Conduct original research and publish findings in refereed scholarly journals.
• Supervise undergraduate and potentially postgraduate student projects and research work.
• Contribute to curriculum development and review to ensure industry relevance.
• Participate in departmental meetings and university committees.
• Engage with professional bodies and industry partners to enhance the practical application of the curriculum.

Requirements for Appointment

• Must have an earned Ph.D or equivalent degree qualification in the relevant field from an accredited and recognized university.
• At least three (3) years of teaching experience at the university level or in research or industry.
• A minimum of twenty-four (24) publication points, of which at least sixteen (16) should be from refereed scholarly journals.
• Registered with the relevant professional body (where applicable).
