Lecturer Reproductive Health

Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and practical instruction in Reproductive Health to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
• Conduct original research and contribute to the university's academic output through publications in refereed journals and conference proceedings.
• Supervise students' research projects and clinical training as required.
• Provide consultancy services and professional expertise in the area of reproductive health.
• Carry out administrative duties and other responsibilities as may be assigned by the department or university management from time to time.
• Participate in curriculum development and departmental meetings.

Requirements and Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree (Ph.D.) from an accredited/recognized institution.
• MMed or MDS degree and Specialist training in Reproductive Health.
• Research Publication Output:
  • A minimum of twelve (12) research publication output points from refereed scholarly journals and two (2) points from publications in conference proceedings OR;
  • A minimum of thirty-two (32) publication points if the applicant is from a research institution OR;
  • A minimum of six (6) publication points if the applicant is from practice/industry.
• Evidence of recognition and registration by the relevant regulatory body where applicable.
• Evidence of membership or affiliation of the relevant professional body where applicable.
