Requirements for Appointment
To be eligible for appointment to this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Academic Qualifications: Must possess a doctorate degree (Ph.D.) in Pharmaceutical Chemistry or a related field from an accredited or recognized institution.
Research and Publications:
A minimum of twelve (12) research publication output points from refereed scholarly journals.
A minimum of two (2) points from publications in conference proceedings.
Alternative for Research Institutions: Applicants currently working in research institutions require a minimum of thirty-two (32) publication points.
Alternative for Industry Professionals: Applicants from practice or industry require a minimum of six (6) publication points.
Professional Registration: Evidence of recognition and registration by the relevant regulatory body where applicable.
Professional Affiliation: Evidence of membership or affiliation with the relevant professional body where applicable.
Responsibilities
While specific teaching duties are determined by the department, lecturers at Kisii University are generally expected to:
