Tom Mboya University is inviting applications for the position of Lecturer in Marine Engineering (2 Posts). The university, which evolved from the Maseno University Learning Centre established in 2010, is seeking qualified academics to contribute to its growing faculty in Homa Bay. The role involves teaching at the university level, conducting research, and participating in the academic life of the institution.
Requirements for Appointment
To be eligible for appointment, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Must have an earned Ph.D. or equivalent degree qualification in the relevant field (Marine Engineering) from an accredited and recognized university.
Must have at least three (3) years of teaching experience at the university level or in research or industry.
Must have a minimum of twenty-four (24) publication points, of which at least sixteen (16) should be from refereed scholarly journals.
Must be registered with the relevant professional body (where applicable).
