The University is seeking to recruit a qualified Lecturer in the field of Immunology to join its academic staff. Requirements for Appointment
To be eligible for appointment to the position of Lecturer, the candidate must meet the following criteria:
A doctorate degree (PhD) from an accredited/recognized institution.
An MSc degree in the relevant area (Immunology) from an accredited/recognized institution.
A minimum of twelve (12) research publication output points from refereed scholarly journals and two (2) points from publications in conference proceedings.
Alternatively, a minimum of thirty-two (32) publication points if the applicant is from a research institution.
Alternatively, a minimum of six (6) publication points if the applicant is from practice/industry.
Evidence of recognition and registration by the relevant regulatory body, Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board (KMLTTB).
Evidence of membership or affiliation with the relevant professional body where applicable.
