Tom Mboya University is inviting applications for the position of Lecturer in Education in Technology. This academic role is intended for individuals who can provide high-quality teaching, conduct impactful research, and contribute to the growth of the ICT and Education departments at the university.
Responsibilities and Duties
Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in the field of Education in Technology.
Conduct original research and contribute to scholarly publications in refereed journals.
Supervise student research projects, theses, and dissertations.
Develop and update course curricula to reflect modern technological advancements in education.
Participate in departmental and university-wide administrative duties and committees.
Engage with relevant professional bodies and participate in community service.
Requirements and Qualifications
An earned Ph.D. or equivalent degree qualification in Education in Technology or a relevant field from an accredited and recognized university.
A minimum of three (3) years of teaching experience at the university level or equivalent experience in research or industry.
A track record of research with a minimum of twenty-four (24) publication points, including at least sixteen (16) points from refereed scholarly journals.
Registration with a relevant professional body, where such a body exists for the field.
