Lecturer (Architecture)

Responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in Architecture and related units.
• Conduct high-impact research and contribute to the university's academic output.
• Supervise students' research projects and provide mentorship.
• Participate in curriculum development and review to ensure alignment with industry standards.
• Engage with professional bodies and contribute to departmental and university-wide committees.
• Perform administrative duties as assigned by the Head of Department.

Requirements for Appointment

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• An earned Ph.D. or equivalent degree qualification in Architecture or a relevant field from an accredited and recognized university.
• At least three (3) years of teaching experience at the university level or significant experience in research or industry.
• A minimum of twenty-four (24) publication points, with at least sixteen (16) points coming from refereed scholarly journals.
• Must be registered with the relevant professional body (e.g., BORAQS) where applicable.
