The university is seeking to recruit a qualified and dedicated individual to serve as a Lecturer in Applied Mathematics.
Qualifications and Requirements
Must hold a Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics or a closely related field from a recognized university, obtained before appointment.
Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics, Mathematics, or a related discipline with at least Second Class Honours (Upper Division) or equivalent.
Must have a minimum of 2 years’ teaching experience at university or tertiary level, with evidence of effective delivery and student engagement.
Must be a registered or active member of a recognized professional body such as the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM) or the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications (IMA), with proof of membership at the time of application.
Must have at least one (1) publication in a peer-reviewed journal or conference proceeding in Applied Mathematics within the last 3 years.
