Lecturer Animal Nutrition

We are seeking a dedicated Lecturer in Animal Nutrition to join our academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for training high-level human resources to meet national and international labor market needs while sustaining high-quality research, consultancy, and the dissemination of knowledge and competencies.\n\n### Key Responsibilities\n- Deliver high-quality lectures and tutorials in the field of Animal Nutrition.\n- Conduct original research and publish findings in refereed scholarly journals.\n- Supervise and mentor undergraduate and postgraduate students in their research projects.\n- Engage in consultancy services and disseminate knowledge within the community and industry.\n- Participate in the development and review of academic curricula.\n- Contribute to departmental and university-wide academic committees.\n\n### Job Requirements\n- A doctorate degree (PhD) in Animal Nutrition or a relevant discipline from an accredited/recognized institution.\n- An MSc degree in the relevant area from an accredited/recognized institution.\n- A minimum of twelve (12) research publication output points from refereed scholarly journals and two (2) points from publications in conference proceedings; OR a minimum of thirty-two (32) publication points if the applicant is from a research institution; OR a minimum of six (6) publication points if the applicant is from practice/industry.\n- Evidence of recognition and registration by the relevant regulatory body where applicable.\n- Evidence of membership or affiliation with the relevant professional body where applicable.\n\n### How to Apply\nInterested and qualified candidates are required to apply online through the Kisii University digital portal at digital.kisiiuniversity.ac.ke.
