Kilimall is looking for an IT Services & Infrastructure Officer to join their team. The primary mission is to ensure stable and efficient technological infrastructure across all sites, supporting the growth of Kenya's largest online shopping mall. The role involves managing network uptime, supporting warehouse-specific systems, maintaining security through CCTV and access control, and providing high-quality IT support to users.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure Stability: Ensure stable power and network connectivity across all sites; manage relationship with Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and monitor network uptime.
Warehouse Operations: Support and maintain warehouse systems including Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), scanners, and printers, resolving issues promptly to maintain operational flow.
Device Management: Oversee the setup, maintenance, and lifecycle management of all office devices.
Security & Surveillance: Maintain CCTV systems and provide support for surveillance reviews; manage user access and enforce security policies to prevent system misuse.
Technical Support: Deliver daily IT support and ensure helpdesk tickets are resolved within established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Leadership & Training: Supervise junior IT support staff, create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and conduct user training.
Vendor & Cost Management: Coordinate with external vendors, monitor the quality of services provided, and assist in cost control initiatives.
Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in IT operations, infrastructure, or technical support roles.
Industry Knowledge: Proven experience managing multi-site IT environments. Prior experience in warehouse or operational environment support is highly preferred.
Core Skills
Proficiency in hands-on troubleshooting of both network and hardware systems.
Expertise in managing routers, switches, and firewalls.
Familiarity with power backup systems including UPS and generators.
Hands-on experience with CCTV systems and access control technologies.
Strong execution ability, problem-solving skills, and the capacity to lead a small team.
