Africa Global Logistics (AGL), a part of the MSC family and a leading multimodal logistics operator in Africa, is seeking an IFF Operation Supervisor specializing in Invoicing. The role is based in the Sea Imports Department in Nairobi. The primary purpose of this position is to coordinate all invoicing activities to ensure timely and accurate processing, ensuring all costs are captured and invoices are dispatched promptly to facilitate collection and meet departmental targets.
Key Responsibilities
Coordination: Manage and oversee all invoicing activities within the Sea Imports Department to ensure timely processing.
Cost Verification: Check and confirm disbursements within the system to guarantee that all operational costs are accurately captured in the final invoice.
Accuracy and Timeliness: Ensure all department files are invoiced precisely and within stipulated timelines.
Dispatch Management: Oversee the immediate dispatch of invoices to clients to facilitate prompt payment collection.
Tariff Maintenance: Regularly check and confirm that tariff files are current and correctly applied in the system.
Target Achievement: Work closely with operations staff to meet and exceed monthly targets as directed by the Head of Department (HoD).
Skills and Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field.
Certification: Professional qualification in CPA II.
Experience: A minimum of 3 years' professional experience specifically within the Clearing & Forwarding or Logistics Industry.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in invoicing systems, cost management, and tariff application.
Soft Skills: Strong coordination, attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
