Job Description
The County Government of Nandi is inviting applications for the position of Human Resource Management Officer I. The role involves maintaining high standards of employee data management, facilitating performance appraisals, ensuring compliance with labor regulations, and coordinating staff development initiatives within the county.
Duties and Responsibilities
Employee Data Management: Maintain accurate employee data, update records in databases, and ensure overall data integrity.
Performance Appraisal: Monitor and facilitate the performance appraisal processes across county departments.
Policy and Compliance: Advise employees on county policies, handle grievances, and ensure strict compliance with labor laws and regulations.
Training and Development: Coordinate training programs, manage training logistics, and evaluate the effectiveness of training interventions.
Requirements for Appointment
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or a related field from a recognized institution.
A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a relevant field.
Proficiency in computer applications.
Professional membership with the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM).
