Role Overview
Nandi County is seeking to recruit two (2) Human Resource Management Officers I. These positions are responsible for ensuring the efficient administration of human resource functions within the county government, focusing on record management, performance evaluation, and staff development.
Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee data in personnel databases to ensure data integrity.
Monitor and support the implementation of performance appraisal processes across departments.
Provide advisory services to employees regarding county human resource policies and grievance procedures.
Ensure strict compliance with Kenyan labour laws and established regulations.
Coordinate staff training programs, including handling logistics and evaluating the effectiveness of training interventions.
Requirements for Appointment
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or a related field from a recognized institution.
Have at least three (3) years of professional experience in a relevant HR field.
Demonstrate proficiency in computer applications and HR management systems.
Hold a valid membership with the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM).
