Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Hostess Waitress at Jumba Ruins Monsoon in Mombasa. The Hostess Waitress will be responsible for welcoming guests, managing reservations, guiding customers to their tables, assisting with menu recommendations, and ensuring exceptional customer service throughout their dining experience. Other duties include collaborating closely with the kitchen and service staff to ensure efficient food service and addressing guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome guests upon arrival and manage table reservations.
Guide patrons to their tables and present menu options.
Offer detailed menu recommendations and answer guest inquiries.
Collaborate with kitchen and floor staff to ensure prompt service.
Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism.
Qualifications & Requirements
Qualification: BA/BSc/HND.
Strong customer service and communication skills to provide an outstanding guest experience.
Knowledge and experience in food and beverage service.
Basic cooking knowledge is a plus, aiding in understanding menu items.
Positive attitude, professionalism, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Previous experience in hospitality or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory.
