The Growth Product Manager for Retail Digital Solutions at NCBA Group is responsible for identifying unmet customer needs and commercialization opportunities. The role involves executing approved and prioritized roadmaps by collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to create, design, and deliver high-impact innovative products from concept to market. The ultimate goal is to create seamless digital finance customer journeys that increase conversions and transactions, improve user experience, generate additional revenue, and lower the cost to serve.
Key Responsibilities
Opportunity Identification: Identify unmet customer needs and commercialization opportunities to drive product innovation.
Roadmap Execution: Execute approved and prioritized product roadmaps through collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
Product Delivery: Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of innovative products from concept to market launch.
Activation and Usage: Partner with client-facing teams and Marketing to promote the activation and usage of Digital Finance products.
Growth Analytics: Utilize data-driven analytics to increase Daily Active Users (DAU) and Average Revenue Per Customer (ARPU).
Journey Optimization: Create seamless digital finance customer journeys to increase conversions/transactions and improve user experience while lowering the cost to serve.
Qualifications and Requirements
Academic: University degree with Upper 2nd Class honors and any other relevant professional qualifications.
Professional Certification: A qualification in a technology-related field, Data Analysis, or Project Management is required.
Technical Proficiency: Advanced MS Office skills, specifically with an advanced Excel qualification.
Sector Experience: 6-8 years of experience in Banking or digital financial services.
Specialized Experience: At least 2 years of experience delivering or handling customer-facing digital solutions in a Product, Project Management, Data Analysis, or IT applications function.
Product Knowledge: Strong knowledge of product management methods, processes, and a solid understanding of emerging technology and big data platforms.
Collaboration: Experience working in cross-functional project teams and the ability to communicate effectively with both technology and business teams.
