The Group Accounts Assistant provides essential financial and administrative support to the accounting department, ensuring accuracy in record-keeping and efficiency in financial operations.
Responsibilities
Support Treasury & Asset, Accounts Payable & Receivable processes including invoices, payments, receipts, and Bank Reconciliation.
Help maintain accurate and reconciled financial records across suppliers and customers.
Contribute to month-end close, reporting, and audit preparation.
Assist with tax compliance (VAT, WHT) and financial controls.
Support inventory tracking, stock counts, and reconciliations.
Assist with treasury tasks, including bank reconciliations and cash tracking.
Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to resolve queries efficiently.
Minimum Qualifications
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2-3 years' experience in an accounting or finance role.
Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and reconciliations.
Experience with accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite) is an added advantage.
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
