Front of House Manager

You'll oversee front-of-house activities, manage a small team, and ensure that our reception and visitor areas run smoothly and reflect the professionalism and compassion at the core of KSPCA. From handling inquiries and resolving concerns to guiding visitors on safe interactions with animals, you'll play a key role in connecting people to our mission. We're looking for someone who is approachable, dependable, and confident in managing both people and processes. You should have strong communication skills, a natural ability to stay organised, and a calm, solution-oriented approach—especially in a dynamic environment. Experience in a customer-facing role is important, and being comfortable around animals is essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily front-of-house activities and lead the visitor experience team.
• Manage reception and visitor areas to ensure they reflect KSPCA's professionalism.
• Coordinate shelter visits and animal adoption processes.
• Handle visitor inquiries and resolve any concerns or issues.
• Guide visitors on safe and respectful interactions with animals.
• Maintain organizational integrity and respect for both people and animals in all interactions.

Requirements

• A BA, BSc, or HND qualification.
• Proven experience in a customer-facing role.
• Must be comfortable being around animals (essential).
• Strong communication skills and exceptional organizational abilities.
• Ability to lead a small team with empathy and professionalism.
• A calm, solution-oriented approach in dynamic environments.
• Commitment to KSPCA’s mission of protecting and caring for animals.
