Field Service Engineer - Rotary Blowing Machine (Mechanical / Mechatronic)

Key Responsibilities

• Installation & Commissioning: Execute installation, qualification, and testing of equipment at customer plants. Evaluate equipment performance based on technical and safety standards.
• Technical Operations: Operate on mechanical systems and HMI for regular activities and troubleshooting as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Electrical Maintenance: Execute electrical tasks such as cable wiring and related troubleshooting.
• Quality Management: Properly handle, check, and transfer equipment non-conformities.
• Documentation: Prepare comprehensive job progress and technical reports for all on-site activities.
• Customer Satisfaction: Ensure high levels of internal and external customer satisfaction and identify after-sales opportunities detected on-site.
• Safety & Compliance: Perform all activities in line with SOPs, the Sidel coordination plan (HSE), and customer rules.
• Mentorship: Coach junior colleagues on on-site behavior, technical activities, troubleshooting, and reporting.
• Coordination: Report directly to the Installation Site Manager regarding team activities on-site.

Candidate Profile

• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in field services specifically for high-speed blowing machines.
• Education: A degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electromechanical Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• Language: Fluent in English (written and spoken) with excellent reporting skills.
• Travel: Ability to travel up to 90% of the time, including domestic and international locations.
• Additional Assets: Experience in the beverage CAN and GLASS industries is a plus. Experience with other packaging equipment (e.g., Labeler and Filler) or knowledge of PLC systems (Siemens / B&R / ELAU) is an added advantage.
