The Field Sales Executive – D2H Offline role is focused on driving sales and expanding the market presence for refurbished smartphones within Nairobi. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the development of strategic partnerships with telecom operators and internet service providers, as well as executing direct field sales campaigns and community outreach initiatives. This role requires a proactive individual capable of generating leads in residential and office hubs while building strong relationships with local retail partners.
Key Responsibilities
Telecom & Broadband Partnerships
Support the development of partnerships with telecom operators, broadband companies, and internet service providers in Nairobi.
Identify opportunities for device and data bundle collaborations with telecom partners.
Build and maintain relationships with telecom sales agents, distributors, and retail partners.
Field Sales & Community Outreach
Identify residential estates, apartment complexes, and office hubs for field sales campaigns.
Conduct on-ground promotional activities using flyers, brochures, and marketing materials to promote refurbished smartphones.
Engage directly with residents, office employees, and local communities to generate sales leads and product awareness.
Support door-to-door and society activation campaigns to drive customer acquisition.
Local Distribution & Sales Support
Develop relationships with local mobile phone shops, resellers, and retail outlets.
Assist in expanding the company’s market presence through community-based distribution channels.
Identify opportunities for bulk sales through local organizations, SACCOs, and employers.
Sales Tracking & Reporting
Track and follow up on leads generated through partnerships and field activities.
Monitor conversion rates from outreach campaigns and sales activations.
Prepare weekly reports on sales activities, partnerships, pipeline status, and market feedback.
Requirements
Education: BA/BSc/HND qualification.
Experience: 3+ years’ experience in field sales, partnerships, telecom sales, or direct sales.
Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of the telecom, broadband, or consumer electronics market in Kenya.
Campaign Execution: Experience executing on-ground marketing campaigns and community outreach initiatives.
Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Experience: Experience working with telecom operators such as Safaricom is an added advantage.
Industry Background: Background in mobile phones, telecom distribution, or consumer electronics preferred.
Independence: Ability to work independently and engage effectively with diverse communities.
