The E-Learning and Pedagogy Coordinator at Zetech University is responsible for supporting faculty in the design and creation of effective, engaging digital learning environments. Reporting to the Director of the Zetech Digital School, the successful candidate will bridge the gap between technology and education, ensuring that instructional materials across all modalities (face-to-face, hybrid, and online) meet high pedagogical standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy and Innovation: Research and implement competitive strategies for education delivery and explore emerging technologies and their applications.
Academic Research: Conduct research into technology-enhanced learning and contribute to the writing of research papers.
Course Development: Plan, implement, and manage the online course development lifecycle, including faculty training and quality assurance reviews.
Instructional Support: Provide expert instructional design consultations to teaching staff for interactive content creation.
Multi-modal Design: Support the design, development, and conversion of course materials for face-to-face, hybrid, and fully online delivery.
Capacity Building: Develop and facilitate workshops on online teaching, course design, and technology-enhanced instruction.
Content Production: Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify training needs and translate them into effective learning materials; visualize instructional graphics and user interfaces.
Multimedia Creation: Create supporting media such as audio, video, simulations, role-plays, and games.
Assessment Design: Develop assessment methods (tests/quizzes) to evaluate course effectiveness and student outcomes.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education: A Master’s Degree in Educational Technology, Instructional Design, Computer Science, Information Systems, Learning Sciences, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of work experience in an institution of higher learning, a curriculum development center, an eLearning project, or a related field.
Programming: Knowledge of programming concepts and experience with Javascript or VBA.
Multimedia: Experience in audio and narration editing.
Pedagogical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models.
Design Tools: Graphic design proficiency with Adobe products including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
Regulatory Awareness: Understanding of course/program requirements, examination body procedures, and Commission for University Education (CUE) operations.
