Key Responsibilities

• Transportation: Safely transport missionaries using a variety of vehicles, including large buses.
• Vehicle Care: Maintain vehicles through regular cleaning and servicing, ensuring that all maintenance and repairs are carried out by certified technicians.
• Compliance: Strictly adhere to all federal and state transportation laws and safety procedures.
• Inspections: Assist with daily vehicle inspections to ensure optimum performance and operational safety.
• Logistics & Delivery: Transport people and deliver goods to designated destinations safely, applying knowledge of driving regulations and local road systems.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate vehicle logs and monitor performance metrics.
• Ad-hoc Duties: Perform other duties as assigned to support logistical operations.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Religious Standard: Must be worthy of a temple recommend.
• Education: Requires high school education or equivalent.
• Experience: At least two years of previous general work experience and a minimum of one year of professional driving experience.
• Licensing: Possession of an appropriate and valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of auto mechanics and the ability to follow directions or use maps effectively.
• Soft Skills: Basic reading, math, and communication skills.
• Attributes: Demonstrated ability to care for and highly regard Church vehicles and equipment.
