Role Overview
The County Government of Kitui is seeking to recruit qualified and competent individuals to fill the position of Dental Technologist III. This role is essential for providing specialized dental laboratory services and administrative support within health institutions in the county. The successful candidate will be responsible for the production of dental prosthetics and appliances, patient assessment, and the maintenance of clinical records.
Key Responsibilities
Dental Appliances: Preparation and construction of various appliances and prostheses required in dentistry within county health institutions.
Patient Care: Assessing patients' needs, verifying clinical information, and maintaining accurate health records relating to patient treatments.
Administrative Duties: Ordering and maintaining records of dental supplies and laboratory materials to ensure consistent service delivery.
Supervision: Guiding, supervising, and counseling junior staff members working within the dental unit.
Requirements
Must be a Citizen of Kenya.
Must hold a Diploma in Dental Technology or a relevant and equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Must have successfully completed at least one (1) year of pre-service training.
