The Customer Care Assistant II position at the Water Resources Authority (WRA) is an entry and training grade for diploma holders. The role involves working under the guidance of a senior officer to manage internal and external communication, bolster brand reputation, and engage stakeholders. The primary objective is to maintain consistent communication that aligns with the Authority’s organizational goals and values.
Key Responsibilities
Visitor Management: Receiving, guiding, and directing visitors to the appropriate offices or departments.
Inquiry Resolution: Responding to customer inquiries promptly and accurately.
Security & Access Control: Following safety protocols and managing access to the facility via the reception desk.
Documentation: Maintaining the visitors' register and issuing necessary passes.
Switchboard Operations: Managing the switchboard and reporting any technical faults in telecommunications.
Feedback & Complaints: Recording customer feedback and receiving formal complaints for processing.
Reception Maintenance: Ensuring the reception area remains tidy and is stocked with relevant stationery and information materials.
Record Keeping: Maintaining updated records of customer needs and concerns.
Qualifications and Experience
Experience: A minimum of three (3) years of cumulative relevant work experience at the grade of Customer Care Assistant III or a comparable position.
Education: A Diploma in any of the following fields: Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Customer Care, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in computer applications.
Terms of Service and Remuneration
Successful candidates will serve for a probationary period of six (6) months before being considered for conversion to Permanent and Pensionable Terms of Service. Remuneration is subject to the terms approved by the Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC).
