Core Trade Product Management (Network) - Middle East & Africa

The Core Trade Network organisation was created and formalised as part of the Citi re-organisation and covers a range of Trade Services products, including Letters of Guarantee, Import/Export Letters of Credit, and Documentary Collections. The successful candidate will support the wider Middle East & Africa Network team, responsible for the delivery of product expertise in the region. This role reports into the Middle East & Africa Network Head and works with the wider global Core Trade Network team, Core Trade pillars, and functional partners to ensure pipeline management and growth with sales, ensure quality of trade product delivery with Operations, and maintain high levels of client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Hold business responsibility for Core Trade products in the Middle East & Africa cluster.
• Assist in managing key stakeholders and help manage cluster and regional strategy as part of the overall global strategy.
• Drive Core Trade revenues and growth, develop product plans, and provide leadership for Core Trade products in the cluster.
• Promote new and innovative products and corridors, increase market share, and maintain the competitive position of Citi in the cluster.
• Drive simplification, global standards, and local configuration.
• Connect the network and corridors.
• Active Network management: Benchmark, Proprietary + 3rd party.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Proven ability to cover a large complex geography / region.
• Relevant Corporate Finance experience.
• Product knowledge – excellent knowledge of trade products, including structured trade products involving large/complex transactions.
• Bachelor’s degree / University degree or equivalent experience.
