Job Description
Ol Pejeta Conservancy is seeking a Clinical Officer. This critical role combines direct clinical care with occupational health and safety leadership. The successful candidate will attend to the medical needs of our staff and their dependants, administer medical schemes, and lead the development and implementation of safety policies that meet both local and international standards.
Beyond individual care, this role carries conservancy-wide responsibility — keeping management informed of health trends, driving preventative interventions, and ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for all employees, visitors, and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Attend to the medical needs of staff and their dependants.
Administer and manage staff medical schemes.
Lead the development and implementation of occupational health and safety (OHS) policies aligned with local and international standards.
Keep management informed of health trends within the conservancy.
Drive preventative medical interventions and health awareness programs.
Ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all employees, visitors, and stakeholders.
Requirements and Qualifications
Must be a qualified Clinical Officer.
Hold a BA/BSc/HND in Clinical Medicine or a related medical field.
Proven experience in occupational health is required.
High standard of professional integrity.
Ability and willingness to work in a field-based conservation environment.
