Job Description
The Chief Information Communication Technology Officer will be responsible for coordinating systems analysis, design, and programme specifications to ensure the efficient operation of ICT infrastructure within the county. The role involves high-level technical oversight, maintenance management, and staff supervision.
Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinating systems analysis, design, and programme specifications.
Ensuring timely implementation and effective maintenance of systems.
Developing reports on ICT standards and supervising overall systems documentation.
Taking charge of Information Communication Technology equipment maintenance.
Preparing progress reports of the Information Communication Technology equipment maintenance.
Evaluating and recommending on the suitability of Information Communication Technology equipment.
Training of Information Communication Technology Hardware personnel and users.
Designing Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN).
Preparing staff performance reports.
Requirements for Appointment
Be a Kenyan Citizen.
A Bachelor's degree (BA/BSc) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in a relevant field.
At least six (6) years post-qualification professional experience in Information Communication Technology in the Public Service or Private Sector.
Be in good standing with a relevant Professional body.
A certification in knowledge management will be an added qualification.
Certificate in computer applications from a recognized institution.
