Category Lead – Marketing (Hygiene/Beverages/Food+Snacks)

Key Responsibilities

• Strategy Development: Develop and execute category marketing strategies aligned with business growth objectives.
• Brand & Campaign Management: Lead brand positioning and deliver ATL, BTL, digital, and trade marketing campaigns.
• Market Performance & Activation: Drive in-store activations and collaborate with Sales and RTM (Route-To-Market) teams to improve product visibility and market performance.
• Product Launches: Support new product launches and portfolio development through cross-functional collaboration.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor category performance, market share, pricing, promotions, and marketing ROI.
• Insights & Reporting: Prepare business reviews and leverage consumer insights to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. CIM, MBA, or other professional marketing qualifications are an added advantage.
• Experience: 5-8 years of FMCG marketing experience, including at least 3 years in Brand or Category Management. Experience in the Hygiene, Beverages, or Food & Snacks sectors is highly preferred.
• Trade Knowledge: Strong understanding of traditional and modern trade channels as well as trade marketing.
• Execution: Proven experience developing marketing strategies, managing budgets, agencies, and driving cross-functional projects.
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and commercial decision-making skills.
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of pricing strategy, portfolio management, BI tools, digital marketing platforms, and SAP S/4HANA is an added advantage.
