The Business Sales Representative (EAE & SMB) is responsible for driving revenue growth and managing the complete sales cycle for the DStv Business brand. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, conducting deep market research, and establishing strong, professional relationships with potential and existing clients within target sectors in Kenya.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Performance: Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets through proactive lead generation and closing.
Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory and conduct market research to find potential clients.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain high-level relationships with clients and provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries effectively.
Sales Cycle Management: Manage the entire cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing deals.
Presentation & Demonstration: Conduct effective sales presentations and professional product demonstrations.
Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely sales reports and forecasts for management.
Brand Representation: Represent the DStv Business brand professionally at all times and stay updated on industry trends and competitive developments.
Requirements and Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 2 years of proven experience in B2B sales specifically within the Kenyan market.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Local Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Kenyan business landscape, particularly within the specified region.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills; strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
Attributes: Results-oriented, proactive, disciplined work ethic, and the ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
