Our client, Sierra Premium Breweries Ltd, a player in the beverage manufacturing industry, is seeking a Brewing Intern to support beverage production operations. The role focuses on assisting with equipment monitoring, process data recording, and plant maintenance while building practical knowledge in brewing science and beverage manufacturing systems.
Key Responsibilities
Production Support: Assist in beverage production, including ingredient blending and syrup preparation.
Utility Monitoring: Monitor and learn the operation of key plant utilities, including water and effluent treatment plants.
Sanitation: Execute sanitation protocols and operate Clean-In-Place (CIP) systems for tanks and pipelines.
Packaging Operations: Assist with packaging line operations, including machine start-ups and quality checks.
Safety & Compliance: Maintain high food safety standards by following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HACCP guidelines. Implement 5S practices to ensure a clean and hazard-free work environment.
Data Management: Record precise production data and maintain operational logs for shift handovers.
Advanced Learning: Transition into brewhouse operations including mashing, boiling, and fermentation monitoring.
Incident Reporting: Participate in safety drills and report any unsafe conditions or incidents immediately.
Qualifications & Requirements
Recent graduate (2025 - 2026) with a degree (BA/BSc/HND) in Brewing Science, Food Science, or Chemical Engineering.
Backgrounds in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Biochemistry, or Microbiology are also accepted.
Strong interest in developing a career within the brewing industry.
Basic understanding of manufacturing or process plant operations.
Competency in MS Office and general computer literacy.
Ability to demonstrate a strong learning attitude and teamwork skills.
Commitment to strict hygiene and safety standards.
Flexibility to work within a manufacturing environment and across various shifts.
