Kenindia Assurance Company Limited is looking for a Branch Manager for the Machakos Branch. The job holder is responsible for driving individual life business top-line and bottom-line growth and providing customer-centric service to policyholders and claimants in the Machakos Branch office.
Principal Accountabilities
Team Leadership: Leading and managing sales teams to maximize profitability and shareholder value through business growth and sustainability while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Office Administration: Carrying out office administration and ensuring compliance with the County and National Government regulations.
Market Intelligence: Gathering market intelligence on future market trends to help improve service and product offerings, while keeping an eye on competition.
Staff Development: Coaching, mentoring, developing, training, motivating, and evaluating the sales team and staff to achieve the highest levels of performance.
Brand Awareness: Planning and driving brand awareness and penetration to grow market share in the region.
Compliance: Ensuring compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements.
Budgeting: Preparing, monitoring, and reporting of the Life business budgetary allocations in the branch.
Communication: Leading and managing all Life business-related communication at the branch.
Operational Excellence: Identifying, implementing, and benchmarking best practices in management.
Customer Service: Ensuring excellent customer service to both internal and external clients by providing required support in agency management.
Change Management: Managing and implementing change initiatives to achieve desired business plans and culture.
Intermediary Management: Recruitment, training, developing, and retaining of intermediaries and alternative channels.
Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience
Undergraduate degree in any business-related field.
At least 5 years of relevant insurance experience.
Certificate of Proficiency (COP) is mandatory.
CIM / Diploma in Insurance is an added advantage.
Work experience in Marketing of Life Business products within the region is an added advantage.
