UBA Kenya is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Branch Manager to lead one of our Business Offices within the Retail Banking division. This is a leadership role for a commercially driven professional ready to accelerate business growth, drive profitability, and deliver exceptional customer experiences at the branch level. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding market share, identifying new business opportunities, and positioning the Bank as the preferred financial partner within the local market.
Key Responsibilities
Performance Management: Responsible for overall branch performance, including full ownership of the P&L, ensuring the achievement of revenue and profitability targets, and optimizing both human and operational resources.
Business Development: Drive customer acquisition and retention, deepen relationships, and maximize share of wallet across all customer segments.
Operations & Service Delivery: Lead branch operations to ensure seamless service delivery and a consistent, high-quality customer experience across all touchpoints.
Compliance & Standards: Champion compliance with regulatory and internal policies while maintaining strong operational standards.
Team Leadership: Foster a high-performance, customer-centric culture within the branch team.
Requirements
Education: BA/BSc/HND degree.
Experience: Proven experience in sales or operations within a banking environment.
Competencies: Proactive and business-focused leader with strong banking knowledge.
Technical Skills: Analytical and tech-savvy.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, networking, and relationship management skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
