Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Daily Operations: Reporting to the plant at 6:00 AM during assigned shifts or as required. Conduct daily tare and gross weight measurements to facilitate loading.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Support maintenance activities alongside the maintenance and LPG systems' Engineering teams. Conduct regular maintenance checklists and ensure general cleanliness of the truck.
• Reporting: Submit real-time online reports after each delivery using the company's mobile application. Map customer locations accurately.
• Compliance & Safety: Before every trip, verify that all statutory licenses (EPRA, NTSA), insurance, inspection, branding, and inter-county permits are valid. Drive the truck in strict accordance with the Kenya Traffic Act (Cap 404).
• Safety Protocols: Adhere to all HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) policies while handling company products. Report all accidents and incidents immediately.
• Asset Management: Take full responsibility for the truck and its accessories, including the first aid kit, fire extinguishers, and tool kits. Monitor service interval schedules.
• Customer Delivery: Ensure procedural delivery of LPG as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), both physically and on the company app. Achieve quick turnaround times at delivery points based on set KPIs.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Experience: At least 3 years’ experience driving in a corporate setup.
• Licensing: Valid Class CD/CE Driving License and a valid EPRA License.
• Education: Minimum of a KCSE certificate.
• Certifications: Defensive Driving Certificate and a mandatory valid Certificate of Good Conduct.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in using GPS devices and smartphones for reporting.
