A leading Family Law firm is seeking a Paralegal to provide compassionate, client-focused legal support in cases such as divorce, custody, child support, mediation, and litigation. This role works closely with the Founder/CEO and the legal team in a dynamic and sensitive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Client Management: Conduct client interviews and manage case files efficiently.
Legal Documentation: Draft and file legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
Research and Support: Perform comprehensive legal research and assist the legal team in trial preparation.
Administrative Coordination: Manage calendars and coordinate all client communications to ensure smooth operational flow.
Requirements
Experience: 1–2 years of experience as a Paralegal, with a preference for Family Law experience.
Education: Associate degree in Paralegal Studies or Legal Studies.
Organization: Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Professionalism: High level of confidentiality and professionalism when dealing with sensitive family matters.
Technical Proficiency: Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
Systems Knowledge: Experience with MyCase or similar legal systems is preferred.
Nice to Have
Experience with VAWA (Violence Against Women Act) cases, advocacy, or women’s empowerment initiatives.
