Our client, a distinguished law firm specializing in a wide range of legal services, including corporate law, family law, and dispute resolution, is seeking to hire a qualified Conveyancing / Commercial Advocate to join their team in Nairobi. The role involves managing legal matters related to property law and commercial transactions with a high level of professionalism and efficiency.
Compensation
Salary: KES 80,000 – 142,000 (Negotiable based on experience and fitness for the role).
Key Responsibilities
Handle conveyancing matters including property transfers, leases, and charges.
Draft and review commercial contracts, partnership deeds, and other legal agreements.
Provide expert legal advice on corporate and commercial law matters.
Manage client files diligently, ensuring timely progress on all transactions.
Represent the firm's interests in legal negotiations and stakeholder meetings.
Conduct legal research to ensure compliance with the latest regulations in Kenya.
Requirements and Qualifications
Must be an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya.
Must possess a current and valid Practicing Certificate.
At least 5 years of post-admission working experience in a busy Law firm.
Minimum qualification of a BA/BSc/HND (LLB preferred).
Computer literacy is essential.
Must be proactive, self-motivated, and aggressive in pursuing results.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to work as part of a team and under minimal supervision.
A person of unquestionable integrity and high professionalism.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle high-pressure environments.
