Bancassurance Sales Officers – Retail Sales - Molo

Role Overview

This role involves driving the growth of retail Life Business within the Molo market. The Bancassurance Sales Officer is responsible for client education, business generation, and brand promotion, working closely with various departments to ensure efficient service delivery. This position offers an attractive performance-based retainer, incentives, and commissions.

Key Responsibilities

• Business Generation: Actively identify and generate new retail Life Business from the allocated market.
• Client Education: Inform and educate both new and existing clients on the range of retail Life products available.
• Service Coordination: Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely and effective service delivery to clients.
• Quotations: Provide accurate and timely product quotations within established turnaround times.
• Market Intelligence: Gather and report market intelligence to help update and improve the product range.
• Policy Retention: Monitor and follow up on policies to ensure the persistency rate remains at acceptable levels.
• Brand Promotion: Act as an ambassador for the CIC brand in the market.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Education: Minimum of a Diploma in a business-related course; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Professional Certifications: Relevant qualifications in Insurance such as COP or ECOP are required. A Diploma in Insurance (AIIK/CII) or LOMA is an added advantage.
• Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Customer Service: Exceptional customer care abilities.
• Age: Must be 25 years and above.
