This role offers an attractive performance-based retainer, incentives, and commissions. The Bancassurance Sales Officer is responsible for generating new retail Life business within the allocated market while ensuring high levels of customer service and brand promotion.
Key Responsibilities
Business Generation: Actively generate new retail Life Business from the allocated market to meet set targets.
Client Education: Educate both new and existing clients on various retail Life insurance products to ensure informed decision-making.
Departmental Liaison: Coordinate with various internal departments to ensure seamless and timely service delivery to clients.
Quotations: Provide timely and accurate quotations to prospective clients within the established turnaround times.
Market Intelligence: Gather and report market intelligence to help the company maintain an updated and competitive product range.
Persistency Management: Follow up on policies to ensure that the business persistency remains at an acceptable rate.
Brand Advocacy: Actively promote the CIC brand in all interactions within the market.
Qualifications and Experience
Education: Minimum of a Diploma in a business-related course. A Bachelor’s degree is considered desirable.
Professional Certifications: Relevant professional qualifications in Insurance such as COP/ECOP. A Diploma in Insurance (AIIK/CII) or LOMA certification is an added advantage.
Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Customer Care: Proven excellence in customer care skills.
Age Requirement: Must be 25 years of age and above.
