This role offers an attractive performance-based retainer, incentives, and commissions. The Bancassurance Sales Officer is responsible for driving the growth of the retail Life Business within the Kapenguria market by engaging with potential clients, offering tailored insurance solutions, and maintaining high service standards.
Key Responsibilities
Business Generation: Actively generate new retail Life Business from the allocated market to meet sales targets.
Client Education: Educate both new and existing clients on the various retail Life insurance products available.
Service Delivery: Liaise with various internal departments to ensure timely and efficient service delivery to all clients.
Quotations: Provide timely and accurate quotations within the established turnaround times.
Market Intelligence: Gather market intelligence and feedback to help ensure the product range remains updated and competitive.
Persistency Management: Follow up with clients to ensure policy persistency is maintained at an acceptable rate.
Brand Promotion: Act as an ambassador for the company, promoting the CIC brand in all interactions.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum of a Diploma in a business-related course.
A Bachelor’s degree is considered desirable.
Relevant professional qualifications in Insurance, specifically COP (Certificate of Proficiency) or ECOP.
Possession of a Diploma in Insurance (AIIK/CII) or LOMA certification is an added advantage.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
Exceptional customer care skills.
Age: Candidates must be 25 years and above.
