CIC Insurance Group Limited is an insurance and investment group that operates mainly in Kenya, Uganda, South Sudan, and Malawi. We are seeking a Bancassurance Sales Officer for our Retail Sales division in Kabarnet. This role offers an attractive performance-based retainer, incentives, and commissions. The primary objective is to drive the growth of retail life insurance products through strategic market engagement and excellent service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Business Generation: Generate new retail Life Business from the allocated market to meet set targets.
Client Education: Educate new and existing clients on the various retail Life products available.
Service Delivery: Liaise with various departments to ensure timely and efficient service delivery to all clients.
Quotations: Provide timely and accurate quotations within the established turnaround times.
Market Intelligence: Gather market intelligence to ensure the product range remains competitive and updated.
Retention: Follow up on policies to ensure persistency is maintained at an acceptable rate.
Brand Promotion: Actively promote the CIC brand in the designated region.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education: Minimum of a Diploma in a business-related course. A Bachelor’s degree is highly desirable.
Professional Certification: Relevant professional qualifications in Insurance such as COP or ECOP are required.
Additional Certification: A Diploma in Insurance (AIIK/CII) or LOMA is an added advantage.
Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Experience: Previous experience in insurance sales or retail business development is preferred.
Customer Care: Proven ability to provide excellent customer service.
Age: Candidates must be 25 years of age or older.
