This role offers an attractive performance-based retainer, Incentives and commissions. The Bancassurance Sales Officer is responsible for growing the retail Life insurance business in Garissa by identifying new clients, providing expert advice, and ensuring excellent service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Business Generation: Actively generate new retail Life Business from the allocated market to meet set targets.
Client Education: Educate both new and existing clients on retail Life insurance products and their benefits.
Service Delivery: Liaise with various departments to ensure timely and efficient service delivery to clients.
Quotations: Provide timely and accurate insurance quotations within established turnaround times.
Market Intelligence: Gather and report market intelligence to help the company maintain a competitive and updated product range.
Policy Persistency: Follow up with clients to ensure policy persistency remains at acceptable rates.
Brand Promotion: Actively promote the CIC brand and maintain a positive corporate image.
Requirements and Qualifications
Academic: Minimum of a Diploma in a business-related course. A Bachelor’s degree is highly desirable.
Professional Certifications: Relevant professional qualifications in Insurance such as COP or ECOP. A Diploma in Insurance (AIIK/CII) or LOMA is an added advantage.
Age: Must be 25 years of age and above.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Competencies: Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and customer care skills.
