This role offers an attractive performance-based retainer, Incentives and commissions. As a Bancassurance Sales Officer focused on Retail Sales in Chogoria, you will be responsible for driving the growth of the retail Life Business within your allocated market. The role involves identifying new opportunities, educating clients on insurance products, and maintaining high standards of service and brand representation.
Key Responsibilities
Business Generation: Proactively generate new retail Life Business from the allocated market to meet sales targets.
Client Education: Educate both new and existing clients on various retail Life insurance products, ensuring they understand the benefits and terms.
Liaison: Coordinate with various internal departments to ensure seamless and timely service delivery to clients.
Quotations: Provide accurate and timely quotations to prospective clients within the company's established turnaround times.
Market Intelligence: Gather and report market intelligence to help the company maintain an updated and competitive product range.
Retention: Follow up on existing policies to ensure the persistency rate remains at an acceptable level.
Brand Promotion: Actively promote the CIC brand within the region to enhance market presence.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: Minimum of a Diploma in a business-related course; a Bachelor’s degree is considered desirable.
Professional Certification: Relevant professional qualifications in Insurance such as Certificate of Proficiency (COP) or ECOP are required.
Advanced Certification: A Diploma in Insurance (AIIK/CII) or LOMA certification is an added advantage.
Age: Candidates must be 25 years of age or older.
Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential.
Soft Skills: Strong negotiation skills, problem-solving abilities, and excellent customer care skills.
