The Bancassurance Sales Officer will be responsible for driving retail Life Business within the Kisumu region. The role involves client education, business generation, and maintaining high service standards to promote the company brand.
Key Responsibilities
Business Generation: Generate new retail Life Business from the allocated market.
Client Education: Educate new and existing clients on various retail Life products.
Departmental Liaison: Work with various departments to ensure timely and efficient service delivery to clients.
Quotations: Provide timely and accurate quotations within set turnaround times.
Market Intelligence: Gather market insights to help update and improve the product range.
Persistency Management: Follow up with clients to ensure business persistency remains at acceptable rates.
Brand Promotion: Actively promote the CIC Insurance brand in the market.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education: Minimum of a Diploma in a business-related course; a Bachelor’s degree is desirable.
Professional Certifications: Relevant qualifications in Insurance such as COP or ECOP. A Diploma in Insurance (AIIK/CII) or LOMA is an added advantage.
Age: Must be 25 years and above.
Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Problem Solving: Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
Customer Service: Proven excellent customer care skills.
