Role Overview
The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) is offering an Industrial Attachment program within the Fleet Management department. This three-month program is designed to provide continuing undergraduate and diploma students with practical, hands-on experience in logistics and transport operations within a large-scale government organization. The attachment aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and the professional work environment.
Responsibilities
While specific daily tasks depend on departmental needs, attachés in Fleet Management can expect to:
Assist in the monitoring and tracking of vehicle movements and schedules.
Support the documentation and filing of vehicle maintenance records and logs.
Help in managing and reconciliation of fuel records and consumption reports.
Collaborate with the transport team to ensure efficient logistical support across the Authority.
Perform general administrative tasks to support the fleet management office.
Requirements and Qualifications
Citizenship: Must be a Kenyan Citizen aged below 35 years.
Academic Status: Must be a continuing 1st-degree student (Undergraduate) in their 3rd, 4th, or final year of study, or a Diploma student in their final year from a recognized University or College.
Documentation: Must provide a valid introduction letter from the University/College.
Availability: Must be available full-time for the entire three-month duration of the program.
Important Program Information
Stipend: A monthly stipend of KShs. 7,000 will be paid (subject to statutory deductions).
Duration: The program is fixed at three months; KRA does not offer extensions.
Required Documents if Selected: Proof of valid Personal Accident Insurance Cover, KRA PIN certificate, NHIF/SHIF, NSSF, ID card, and Bank Account details.
Integrity: The Authority does not charge any fee for the recruitment process. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
